I am a software developer who lives in Austin, TX with my partner and children. In my spare time I write -- from speculative fiction to blogging to software programs. As much as time permits, I go to SF conventions. So as not to forget interesting things I hear at conventions, I document them on my website: http://www.geekitude.com/ . As an aspiring writer, I read as much as possible, but the only time I have to read is while I'm on a stairmaster :-) This, however, did not stop me from founding the Science And Religion In Fiction book club (http://www.centerforinquiry.net/austin/local_resources/science_and_religion_in_fiction_book_club/) at the Center For Inquiry Austin branch. We discuss fiction books with themes that are centered around science or religion.
